For me, those early years were the catalyst — the foundation for the grit, the determination, and the purpose I carry today.

I was born with a superpower: survival.
I survived the biggest fight of my life before I even took my first breath — the loss of my twin. That moment shaped everything that followed. It gave me a fire that never dimmed.

And that fire showed up again in ’96.

I begged my mom to let me attend the St. Matts basketball camp.
$500 for a week — for a single mom — was a lot. But I told her straight up:
“I’m going to win MVP for you.”

I walked in wearing #1 on purpose, surrounded by hundreds of talented kids… and I walked out MVP.
That week proved something I already felt inside:
mindset, skill, and confidence can take you anywhere.
It confirmed I had an energy in me that even a spinal cord injury couldn’t shake.

Today, that same inner force drives every part of my mission.
I’ve sourced, designed, and created an entire line of accessible fashion for all four seasons.
I’ve watched thousands of people wear my logo, feel inspired by my story, and join the movement to change lives — especially for those in wheelchairs who deserve to look and feel just as good as anyone else.
